Native Habitat: Africa: Occurs in
temporary pools, swamps and ditches in the coastal plains in Kenya and Somalia.

Temperament: Pretty Shy
Feeding: Some flake foods high in protein and
adult brine shrimp and/or bloodworms, along with live foods such as
grindal worms,
white worms,
red worms,
Daphnia,
Moina, and newly
hatch brine shrimp nauplii
Sexing: Males are colorful longer fins, female
is slightly larger
General Comment: Annual killifish. Relatively
easy to maintain for beginner hobbyist and those without prior killifish
experience. Lifespan is about 1 year.
