Native Habitat: West
Africa, Nigeria costal plains.
Temperament: Generally very peaceful and prefers the upper
strata of the aquarium with a lot of floating plants.
Feeding:
Some flake foods high in protein and adult
brine shrimp and/or bloodworms, along with live foods such as
grindal worms,
white worms,
red worms,
Daphnia,
Moina, and newly
hatch brine shrimp nauplii
Sexing:
Males more
colorful and with display fins
Comments: Good first killifish.
Live about 3 to 4 years. Very hardy
and prolific non-annual plant spawner.
